Choosing the Right Path as Leaders
Reflecting on the Townhall
London, UK

Following our latest CEO Office Townhall, I want to take a moment to reflect—not just on what was shared, but on why these sessions matter. As we reintroduce this important forum into the rhythm of our leadership culture at Regent Global, the message we discussed remains both timely and enduring: in a world full of shortcuts and surface-level answers, we choose the path that is thoughtful, complex, and ultimately right.
This principle is not just theoretical. It is foundational to how we operate, lead, and grow as an organisation. And as our team has grown from 200 colleagues during the pandemic to more than 1,045 professionals across five continents today, the need for clarity in our direction and unity in our values has never been greater.
Reconnecting as One Regent
The return of the Townhall format was met with enthusiasm across the group. Many of you expressed how valuable these sessions were during uncertain times—and how necessary they are today, as we navigate new frontiers in education, real estate, technology, tourism, investment, and global development.
The format remains simple and effective:
30 minutes of Regent business updates
30 minutes dedicated to discussion, Natural Intelligence™, and live Q&A
It is in that second half of the session where we dig deeper. Where leadership becomes more than strategy. Where we ask the important questions—about mindset, values, and how we show up for one another and for our vision.
A Message That Still Resonates
During the Townhall, I referenced a familiar visual: a cartoon showing two doors—one marked “Simple but Wrong” and the other, “Complex but Right.” Unsurprisingly, the majority walk through the easier door. But true leadership requires something different.
At Regent, we have always taken the path that demands more thought, more resilience, and more courage. Not because it’s convenient, but because it is the right thing to do. This philosophy has guided us from the early days of one small tuition centre to our position today as a global, values-led organisation.

Natural Intelligence™ in Action
We also revisited a concept that sits at the heart of our work: Natural Intelligence™. In a world increasingly driven by artificial intelligence, we believe the human mind—and more importantly, the human character—still holds unrivalled power.
Natural Intelligence™ is our ability to think critically, act with integrity, and lead with intention. It reminds us that our greatest advantage is not in the speed of our systems but in the strength of our values. It informs how we approach education, business, innovation and, ultimately, each other.
This is not simply a message—it is a mindset. And one that we will continue to embed across every layer of Regent Global.
The Importance of Reflection
The Townhall was not just a business update. It was an opportunity to pause. To reflect on how far we’ve come, and to realign on where we are going. It was a reminder that communication, clarity and character are not optional in leadership—they are essential.
Looking Forward
As we continue this journey together, let us remember: our strength lies not in taking the easiest route, but in choosing the right one—even when it requires more. That is the Regent way. That is the leadership standard we uphold.
Thank you to all who attended the Townhall. I look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead—and to another chapter of growth, guided by values, driven by purpose, and grounded in Natural Intelligence™.
